Our home is first and foremost secure and warm; a place of love and safety. We have both been teachers and know how important it is to be there for a child, to nurture their strengths, and to support them so they can grow and thrive.

Shari looks forward to school field trips, help with homework, or just being silly together. Craig can’t wait to read with our child, run around with them in the park, or help them on school projects. 

We care a lot about education and love learning. We have both been to college and grad school and our lives have given us a good deal of experience, and, we hope, wisdom as we start on this journey.

We have chosen open adoption because we feel it will be important for our child to know you, and to understand that you made a brave and loving choice for them.  We invite you to share your story with them when you are ready.
